m!chi:be has posted screenshots of two versions of his APC Troop Transporter. One of them is said to be better suited for night missions, but other than this peculiarity, they look pretty similar.
APC Troop Transporter -Black Edition-
This APC wil carry four Partypeople and one driver. The "Black Edition" is for night missions or to hide in hostile vulcanic environments.
APC Trooptransporter -Carmo Edition-
The same APC as the "Black Edition" but for operations at Mars surface. With this good ol' camouflage it will be hard to see this quick transporter.
The two vehicles have been shot directly from DOOM 3.

The APC troop transporter a further was times revised last. Had come out two nevertheless quite similar versions with different areas of application (we reported). To date was UAC: Throwing acres exclusively as Mutliplayer Conversion for Doom3 meant. But during detailed Diskusionen it was decided now that the Mod for the forthcoming Quake4 is published. The reason for it as follows:
But our mod would suffer from the lack of Players in DooM3. We never thought that the MP community would vanish so fast. Althought we will loose some features that are "unique" in DooM³ like huge terrain maps and our vehicle support which was up and running and we have to replace original DooM³ assets we think that UAC:W all in all will be greatly improved by the Quake 4 features. We wished to release an UAC:W-Test for DooM³ but like most mod teams we had some delays. So we will develop for Quake 4 and port over the codebase as soon as the SDK will be released by Raven/id. You can expect the UAC:W-Test for Quake 4 soon after the release of the SDK.

The Doom 3 multiplayer modification UAC:warfare team has announced their switch to Quake 4. The lack of players for Doom 3 gave them the extra required for making to decision to switch. The dying beast called the Doom 3 Multiplayer community is vanishing rapidly unfortunately. Some unique features may be lost, for example huge terrain maps and vehicle support but everything is expected to be greatly improved over time. A UAC:W-Test will be created as soon as the SDK will be released, everything will be ported over to Quake 4 and it will be released shortly after. There is some eyecandy below to make everyone familiar with this modification. There's also a new HUD. Some new items are viewable on the screenshots below. Of course new media will be released when they can actually start working with the SDK. This modification is expected to be released in 2006.

UAC:Warfare - Status Report
We are close to finish the re-texturing and some assets. Porting over stuff is the main thing we are doing in our spare time. Time is rare in the team because michi.be and Freakman are busy with their degree at school. Major Fleischer helped us a lot by modelling the Sniper gun as a Freelancer. He will maybe finish the Assault gun too. NightWulf works on the class-system UI and Central Intelligence reports that he already killed some Stroggs with the Aegis tank in Singpleplayer mode.
So we can do some playtestings with vanilla Quake 4 on our new Gameserver soon.

First look on UAC:Warfare with Quake4 Textures
The retexturing have just begun! After our switch from Doom³ to Quake4 we started to rework our Mod with the new assets. After having a look at the new features we can say that it was worth the switch. We will use slightly modified Marine models for our player classes. For airstrikes and supplies the Q4 Dropship and Fighter is perfect for our needs and will do its job in UAC:Warfare. The overall look will change a little bit because the Quake4 textures are dirty and grundged.
So here's the first shot of our retextured Mars Assault Level which will be released in our UAC:W_Test soon after the Quake4 SDK arrives. We also have two new Weapons modelled and ready for skinning plus the Icecrater terrain is done and in the pipeline for our Mappers. Exspect new shots in our next news update.

UAC: Reinforcement gets throwing acres
As we reported in the last News, the team of UAC searched: Throwing acres after new people, which will energetically unterstuezen it in the coming development time. After now since this assistance call in the country it is painted a few weeks we may communicate you today with joy that the team was extended by UAC by two coworkers: Toireht, a replacement for Zombie, which are changed to Splash Damage, and Blackslapper, a Concept Freelancer.
The team including the two new acquisitions put naturally immediately strongly in things and presents us now new Screenshots and a Concept kind freshly from the Mod mod-Studio.
There work ELT Freakman still to its Mars station, NightWulf at the Domination mode, which it could bring letztens to the completion,and michi.be provides among other things for the impressive organization.
The work to the UI is however to a large extent final and ready for the first play sample. Further the team still looks for new Modellern, which may announce themselves equal with michi.be and for the conversion of the concepts of Blackslapper will be responsible.
Now however rapidly to the new Shots, which contain also first Buggy concepts of Blackslapper, and which "concrete" release date:

UAC: Warfare CHIUDE!
Brutte notizie per quanto riguarda il mod di Quake IV UAC:Warfare, nota modifica inizialmente sviluppata per DooM III e poi proseguita sul più recente degli sparatutto ID di cui vi abbiamo parlato l'ultima volta il 13 aprile. Il progetto è infatti stato chiuso, sebbene i progressi nella scorsa primavera fossero stati notevoli e il rilascio di una prima versione non era lontano (vedi a proposito l'ultima news) la mancanza di un coder ha impedito ulteriori sviluppi ed è stata la causa principale di questa decisione, dal momento che NightWulf, il coder del mod, non riesce ad essere rintracciato da sei mesi; d'altro canto, altri membri dello staff come Freakman stanno lavorando su altri progetti (nella fattispecie Recall to Hell) e lo stesso michi:be che ci dà l'annuncio è impegnato su altri fronti.
Questo è quanto detto dall'autore michi:be sul forum del progetto, precisamente in questo post:

I will make it short here. No excuses or blaming.
The engine is fine the game too.
We made good progress and a first release was coming closer.
Main reason to close for now is the lack of a coder.

He owns the domains and servers so if they are offline he didnt pay the bill anymore.
concerning our art assets its free to all members to share them or to keep them. I will keep mine and maybe release them in a q4 CTF map.

Freakman is working for "recall to hell" now.
Michi.be released two Battlefield 2 maps during the last months and works for the "point of existence" mod now.
