Description

This is a Weapon Mod for ZDoom 2.0 96x with extra weapon
support. Only this version of ZDoom should run this wad.
I worked a lot on this wad, trying to make it the best
mod I did for ZDoom. There are a lot of interesting weapons with
special effects, a lot of cool inventory items and a very good
sound design. However, I'm not a good graphic designer, so don't
expect completely redesigned weapons. All I did is to keep using
the always pretty graphics from the professional weapon modders.
Apart from it, that's a great mod, with the best of my work.
This mod brings a new cool gameplay to the Doom. Play it
with your favorite Map Mod and you'll have a lot of fun. You can
also play very hard maps with this weapon mod, the gameplay will
be very acessible. Note that the weaker enemies have alternative
versions, with new weapons and different attacks.
Now, there is a list of the weaponry from this file, and
also the items available here. The original ones from Doom won't
be listed.


* WEAPONS (by slot number)


1) Melee-style weapons
Throwable Knife: an useful knife that can be thrown and taken
Saw Ripper: when you've run out of Saws, use it
Tech Chainsaw: just cut-off some flesh

2) Pistols
Double Pistol: self-explainable
Revolver: fast and precise, can be used with a Silencer
Shell Revolver: very strong shot

3) Shotguns-like
Small Shotgun: fast and dispersive, but the weakest of all
Modern Shotgun: stronger than the normal Shotgun
Rifle: super precise shot - it also have a telescopic view
Quad Shotgun: the old strong useful weapon, now with alt-fire

4) Chainguns-like
Uzi: very fast, but weak and dispersive. It can be doubled
Minigun: strong and precise, good for long-range attacks
Machinegun: mortal and dispersive, good to clean a room

5) Rocket Launchers
Bazooka: prettier version of the Rocket Launcher
Homing Rocket Launcher: self-explainable
Double Homing Rocket Launcher: very powerful
Dispersion Rocket Launcher: causes terrible damage
Flamewall: funny to use and see desesperated burning enemies

6) Grenades and bombs
Remote-controlled mine: a great and useful placing mine
Hand Grenade: can be thrown at any desired distance
Flame Thrower: the strange element from this slot
Grenade Launcher: good weapon for medium-range attacks

7) Miscellaneous weapons
Morpher: uses Photon Cells to morph enemies into chickens
Nailgun: rips out enemies, with a cool alt-fire trap
Freezer gun: comes with an alt-fire kick to break enemies
Saw Thrower: the classic gun from ZDGuns, but more precise
Poison gun: shots poisoned clouds, with a cool alt-fire

Cell-based weapons
Plasma Bolter: cell-based revolver, uses two kinds of cells
Railgun: the classic one, with a stronger charged alt-fire
Cell Blaster: slow but strong, good to kill stronger enemies
Photon Rifle: very strong if you get two of them

9) Mass Destruction weapons
Nuclear Missile Launcher: causes an unbelievable destruction
BFG 12850: programmable charger weapon with different shots
Photon Reactor Cannon: it causes mass disintegration

0) Hellish-origin weapons
Imp Claw: very weak but fun to use
Mancubus Arm: can cause great damage if doubled
Bright Orb Staff: shots homing orbs to disintegrate enemies
Skull Staff: can cause a lot of burning damage
Evil Staff: melee-style staff, the dream of every sorcerer!
Unholy Weapon: to use this weapon is an unique experience...


* INVENTORIES


1) Human-built inventories

Portable Healing Kit: gives 10% of health
Portable Medikit: gives 25% of health
Armor Booster: can improve your actual armor kind by 15%
Healing Kit: give 100% of health
Health Upgrade Charge: adds 10% of your maximun health
Steroids: you can move faster
Blue Visor: allows you to see dark places
Portable Radiation Suit: now you can take it with you!
Jetpack: makes you fly (not added to the gameplay)
Dinamite: a bomb that can burn enemies
Bottle: very powerful bomb
Liquid Nitrogen Bomb: a bomb that freezes the enemies
Auto-Detect Mine: an intelligent trigger-based bomb
Silencer: allows silent attacks if used with the Revolver
BFG 12850 System Circuit: main program chip from BFG 12850
Energy Shield: a great artifact to protect you from damage
Teleporter Placer: remote-controlled teleport placer
Helper Marine: contacts a marine via teleporter to help you

2) Demon-built inventories

Life Bottle: gives 15% health and allows a maximum of 200%
Rat Spawner Recipient: a bottle that spawns rats when broken
Fly Spawner Recipient: same as above, but spawns flies
Profane Spirit: spawns spirits to steal enemy's souls
Magic Bag: an artifact that makes you invisible
Immortality Calice: makes you invulnerable if you drink it
Death Skull: makes extreme damage to every enemy in the area
Honor Medal: gived only to the ones that deserve it

3) Armor classes

Vest: superficial protection, 50% with very low saving
Green Armor: the classic 100% armor
Electronic armor: charged protection with 150% good saving
Blue armor: the classic 200% armor
Silver armor: the latest UAC technology in armor
Inferno Protection: found at remote places from Hell

TIP: check for the item keys on the "Customize Controls", there
are a lot of pre-defined keys. It can improve your gameplay.
CHEAT: if you type "STUFF" at the console, you'll get all the
weapons and items (damn, why did I said that???)

* Instructions *

Just unzip it to your favorite WAD directory, then
use the source port launcher program to load this wad. Use
it with normal Doom 2 maps or your favorite map mod.

I did not tested this file with Doom2.exe. It's
complicated to use this file with Doom2.exe, so i'll not
explain how to do it. Use the following source port:
