Problema installazione "Knights of the Nine"

Ciao a tutti, è la prima volta che scrivo (anche se vi leggo da una vita )

Il mio problema è questo: ho acquistato dal sito ufficiale l'espansione Knights of the Nine, che ho scaricato da qua http://obliviondownloads.com/StoreCatalog_ProductView.aspx?ProductId=9

Durante l'installazione del file setup mi esce questo errore:

HASP SL Client Runtime Error
The Alladin HASP SL Runtime protecting module
"C\OCUME-1\user...\bethsec.dll" could not initialize properly
because it is incompatible with the current platform version.

seguito da

Error number: 0X80040702
Description: Failed to load DLL: bethsec
Setup will now terminate

Ho provato a disinstallare e reinstallare tutto sia con patch 1.1 (che richiede KOTN) e con patch 1.2

Il gioco è originale e se dovesse servirvi vi scrivo anche la config del mio pc

ATI X1300

Con un po' di ricerche ho trovato qualcosa:

However, you can purchase the CD version of Knights of the Nine, which includes the Knights of the Nine Expansion for Oblivion, along with all the currently available plugins, and they will successfully install in Windows XP 64-bit. We do not support the plugins on Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit).

You can purchase Knights of the Nine at https://orders.bethsoft.com/store/, or at many local retailers. If you have purchased the downloadable installers and have XP64 bit or Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit), please reply with your order id so we can process a credit.

If you are using a 32-bit version of Windows XP using a 64-bit processor and are receiving this error, please boot your computer into Safe Mode with Networking. In some circumstances, you may need to use the manual "Phone' option to activate.

To access Safe Mode:

Credo di aver capito che bisogna la versione su CD ma che almeno se gli mando la mail con la fattura mi rimborsano i soldi
