scambio in pieno stile ThomasT-Mac Could Be Dealt To Knicks?

Tracy McGrady, with his microfractured knee and $22.5 million salary that comes off the books next July, could be a player the Knicks will pursue this off-season.
Frank Isola writes that the Knicks could swap the expiring contracts of Larry Hughes and Cuttino Mobley to bring in the big name with All-Star pedigree who could improve their shot at the playoffs. That would perhaps make the club more attractive to LeBron James.
There is no guarantee that McGrady will be ready for the start of next season.

Perchè LBJ dovrebbe andare a NY?
Intanto deve vincere a Cleveland poi potrà pensare a New York.
Pensa un back to back a Cleveland.

May 15, 2009 11:33 AM EST
Kwame Brown's agent, Mark Bartelstein, said Thursday that his client will take his time to decide whether to exercise his $4.1-million player option or hit the open market when free agency begins July 1.
"We'll do it sometime in the next month and a half," Bartelstein said. "When the season's over I think it's good to get away for a while and clear your head before making a decision.
"The season was kind of a roller coaster for him, but we'll make a decision in the coming weeks."

sta fuori altri 9 mesi e son buone notiziePowe Hoping For February 2010 Return
May 15, 2009 4:32 PM EST
Celtics forward Leon Powe got some good news recently; his surgically repaired right knee isn't as damaged as originally thought.
Powe, who had surgery on May 5, will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
"[The doctors] said there was less damage in there than they thought there was," agent Aaron Goodwin said. "Obviously, he still did the reconstruction. But we still feel good about it. We're looking at an All-Star break return."

Shaq: I Take 'Performance Enhancement Cereal'
May 15, 2009 4:29 PM EST
Suns center Shaquille O'Neal poked fun at the so-called steroid era in sports during an interview with 790 The Zone earlier this week.
"Like me, like I've told the world before, only thing I had was Frosted Flakes: Super Enhancement Cereal. That's the only thing I've put in my body," Shaq said. "Frosted Flakes Athletic Performance Enhancement Cereal. They ain't even out yet... For all the little kids, the Performance Enhancement Cereal is you take the Frosted Flakes, and you take the Froot Loops, and you mix them together, and then you get some of them sliced bananas and you put them on that thing, and then you get a big old bowl.
"The kind of bowl if you pull out out your mother say, 'Boy, you better put that bowl back!' And, then you pour that milk... 'You better get a job eating all that milk.' Mama, we ain't got no milk. 'You better put some water on that boy!"

si son già stancati anche loro?Nets Looking To Move Yi
May 17, 2009 2:05 PM EST
The New Jersey Nets are looking to move Chinese forward Yi Jianlian, who they acquired ahead of last June's NBA draft from Milwaukee, the New York Daily News is reporting.
"They're talking about moving him," said a source.
Yi's struggles to improve his defense, rebounding and passing under Lawrence Frank didn't sit well with GM Kiki Vandeweghe, who engineered the deal that sent Richard Jefferson to the Bucks. Yi averaged 8.6 points and 5.3 rebounds in 23 minutes per game, but was often privately criticized for looking only to shoot.
