RUN Atto 1-4 con reset quest - domenica sera

In altro topic è nata l'idea di resettare le quest per avere leggendario garantito da leoric.

La run è per domani sera, da stabilire se prima delle 20 o dopo le 21.
Difficoltà torment1, almeno fino a leoric. In caso di troppe morti abbassiamo.

Con 4 player che si dividono per esplorare le varie aree o completare i diversi obiettivi, dovremmo metterci un paio d'ore dai cancelli di tristram a diablo

Manca la quarta persona per completare un party. Se l'idea interessa anche ad altri possiamo organizzare due gruppi bilanciati




Sul reset quest (blue wot incoming)

In order to unlock the "Reset Quest" button, your character will need to have completed every single quest in the game, including all the individual checkpoints (or steps) within those quests. Just because you've killed Diablo, that doesn't mean your character has necessarily completed every single quest in the game.

We know it's very confusing right now to tell which quest or quest step you're missing, so we're looking into ways to address that and make it more obvious for players to see exactly what they still need to complete in order to unlock the "Reset Quest" option on each of their characters.

That kind of change isn't something we can hotfix in, but instead would require a client-side patch. It is absolutely on our radar, though, and something we want to fix.

When we decided to remove the old tiered progression system (Normal → Nightmare → Hell → Inferno), we knew we would be taking away the repeat story experience. We also knew that there are players out there who enjoyed that experience of getting to play through the story linearly as well as repetitively.

This is where the "Reset Quest" option comes in. We wanted to give players a way to repeat the story and still feel like they were getting a bonus for doing so. For those who don't know, whenever you use "Reset Quest," not only does your quest progression reset, but the gold and EXP rewards also reset. This gives players the opportunity to earn those higher "first time quest complete" reward values again, but it's at the cost of needing to replay the whole story -- which, hey, some players really enjoy.

That said, we know that it's a little too easy right now for players to click the "Reset Quest" button and accidentally reset their story progression without actually a) meaning to and b) knowing entirely what they're getting into. So, we're going to add some additional functionality that will both better clarify what "Reset Quest" does and what rewards come with it, as well make it a little more difficult for those accidental resets to happen.

• We will be fixing the bug with the Skeleton King in an upcoming patch ("the bug" = he drops a guaranteed Legendary item each time you kill him after using the Reset Quest feature, even if you're level 60). This not an intended bonus of Reset Quest.

• While we are fixing the bug with the Skeleton King, we've definitely heard player feedback that it's nice to receive a guaranteed Legendary item for killing a boss after using the Reset Quest feature. We as developers like it, too, but feel that the Skeleton King is the wrong place for it. So, we're going to add that guaranteed Legendary drop to Diablo. Again, this would be a bonus for using the Reset Quest feature and playing the campaign all the way through--even at level 60.

• We're also revisiting drops for all Act bosses after using Reset Quest. We agree that seeing all blues drop just feels bad. =/

tl;dr:
- il reset si può fare solo dopo aver completato ogni singolo step di tutte le quest
- reset quest in futuro verrà modificato in modo che diablo droppi leggendario garantito ad ogni reset quest (SE si rifanno tutte le quest e non solo la diablo kill) anche per pg lvl60 (70?)
- skeleton king è ancora buggato. Dopo ogni reset quest droppa un leggendario garantito

Se lo fate solo per il leggendario, ve lo sconsiglio. Un leggerndario lo droppate cmq ovunque, anche in meno tempo.

Il reset quest azzera tutte le quest (per un pg).
Per partire da una determinata quest e riaffrontare un boss, basta cambiare quest dalle opzioni partita (game settings in inglese)

Eh si troppo facile..... No se resetti devi rifare tutti e 5 gli atti come se tu avessi appena comprato il gioco

Facciamo un thread daily per questo tipo di incontri? Per dire, io stasera potrò giocare a nastro e mi piacerebbe fare adventure oppure un bell'atto V in maniera lenta/completa con amicici del forum. T1 va bene, male che va abbassiamo a Mathael

Controllerò meglio, credevo ci fosse 1 solo tasto e nella mia testa lo chiamavo comunque RESET, il tasto selezione quest

Ma selezionando una quest, mi annulla le successive? Ovvero posso, selezionando la quest, usare tale opzione solo per RI uccidere un particolare BOSS, senza precludere l'avanzamento delle quest fatte?

Esempio se fossi all'atto 3:

1 attimo prima di uccidere azmodan, posso uscire dal game e selezionare la quest per uccidere la donna-ragno?
Subito dopo posso rimettere la quest per uccidere azmodan?

Oppure mi si annullano le quest/waypoint che ci sono DOPO la donna-ragno?

Per gli atti 1-4 puoi parlar senza spoiler

Cmq non annulli i progressi delle missioni compiute, ma perdi i progressi di missioni in corso.
Es. sei in atto2, quest del sangue di kulle. Hai pulito una caverna e decidi di interrompere la missione per uccidere maghda.
Puoi farlo benissimo, ma dopo sei costretto a rifarti entrambi i dungeon delle sabbie e non solo quello che ti mancava.
