The nico stream page says the new title announcement is the first entry in this new HD Project thing that Atlus and Vanillaware are teaming up for. Could it be a series of remasters? Wonder if stuff like Princess Crown and Odin Sphere are on the table too.

HD remake en route to PlayStation consoles.




Atlus and VanillaWare have announced Odin Sphere: Leifdrasir for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PS Vita. It’s due out in Japan on January 14, 2016 for 7,980 yen. First-print copies include an art book.

Leifdrasir is described as “very different” from an HD remaster of the original Odin Sphere, which launched for PlayStation 2 in 2007, but rather a re-created version of the game featuring fully evolved gameplay systems. Judging by one of the main menu options, there also appears to be a “Classic Mode.”

ricordo che mi piacque parecchio su PS2, se veramente si tratta di un Remake spero rivedano le parti troppo ripetitive del gioco

Beh, non è un semplice remaster in HD ma a quanto sembra avrà meccaniche ed elementi nuovi. Se le cose stan così per me è acquisto sicuro.

Io dopo aver praticamente finito Odin Sphere (ricordo di essere arrivato al boss finale ed aver perso la pazienza per la difficoltà) non sento assolutamente la necessità di giocare un add-on. Fosse stato un capitolo completamente nuovo, personaggi/trama/ambienti/ tutti nuovi l'avrei anche giocato penso. Così però, solo a vederlo mi viene già il latte alle ginocchia, e Odin Sphere mi è piaciuto ma lo vedo proprio come gioco completo, io arrivato alla fine non lo ricomincerei mai dall'inizio.

Oh wow. Ero preoccupato che in HD potesse sembrare un gioco in flash, ma stile grafico e dettaglio degli sprite/sfondi sono stati traslati molto bene in alta risoluzione.
