    evidentemente l'aspetto grafico eccellente invoglia

    Vi dico subito che molti dei mod in questione sono anche SP(alcun saranno portati da UT2004 ad UT2007) , non aspettatevi di vedere progetti in avanzato stato di sviluppo, del resto il gioco ancora deve uscire :Asd.

    Carnivore(SP & MP):

    We hope to use the UT2k7 engine. I will outline the key ideas of this project-

    It will be set in space in the future, humans have set up a large empire, earth now acts as a garbage site for unwanted materials. The empire is heavily populated, the rich and powerful were given priority in regards to where they live in the empire. Then comes the generally well off and working population, after this influx of humans the empire was full. An extra city was contructed underneath the empire, it stretches for hundreds of miles and the conditions are appauling. The undercity is populated with criminals, humans suffering mental health problems and the termanally ill. Food is scarce in the undercity which leads to stories of cannabalism. No-one cares for the wellfare of the undercity or its "deranged" inhabitants.

    You (the player) are a well recognised police officer, it has been 100 years since the empire was created. You are 23 years old and have had a glittering carrer even at this early age, your biggest achievment has been the apprehending of the infamous serial killer "the skull" who broke through the barriers of the undercity and murdered 40 civilians. Your new assignment is to investigate the rumors of a gothic "satanic" cult forming in the undercity.

    However it is too late the cult have began to invade the empire above they seem to have supernatural capabilities from a power source in the depths of the undercity. The cult armies seem to be deformed and "messy" implants have been soldered to their bones and organs. The situation becomes horrific, civilians are called up to the army for the first time since world war 4 500 years ago. You are also called up to the army, you are placed in a regular fire team with 9 other marines.

    Your squad is given orders to secure the sewage pipes that lead to the undercity. The results are catastrauphic all your squad are torn apart and massacred. You manage to hide inside a sewage drain, during this time a stoned hippy contacts you over your com link, he tells you that he is a scientist who works for the gothic cult. He has inside information and will help you as long as you rescue him from this nightmare. He informs you that he was only working for them to get free weed, but now he has (almost) come to his senses and realised what horrors he has created. A short time after this you are rescued by a woman looks as she is part of an elite unit. She takes you back to base camp and leaves you to rest. You head to marine HQ to inform them of your contacts with the scientists, he will only talk to you as you and him have a deal.

    You are promoted to the elite special forces department and are sent to meet your one and only partner. That partner is the woman you met earlier. She has been in the army since she was 12, she was recognised after she saved a shop full of civilians from certain death from the skull. The skull was no match for her combat skills she was stronger, faster and more intelligent than the skull even though she was only 12. Her skills have increased as she has grown older. You are introduced to her, she is not happy that someone is helping her, she does not need help, she wants the fame and fortune. However the commander's descision is final, you and her have to end this invasion but will you work as a team?

    So, there you have it, that is the general story we wish to use. We are starting up the development team from scratch so we have all places open be it a modeller or a coder, everything needs to be filled if this project is to be created.







    Kobrakai(solo SP):

    Kobrakai is a semi-futuristic shooter based in the fictional world of Aegia. The game focuses on squad-based combat, and advanced AI - as such it is more of a tactical experience than a twitch-reaction one, a game that requires thinking.
    The game begins amidst the growing tensions of Aegia's two foremost superpowers, the nations of the Javari and the Nordis. The Nordis are a more modern capitalist culture, whereas the Javari are a disparate group of nomad clans, a spiritual and religious race.

    W.L.Jenkins(solo MP)

    There are 2 teams. One guy who plays as the monster like figure of W.L.Jenkins and the other is a team who has to defeat him.

    W.L.Jenkins?

    When you start off you get to choose between 3 different main syringe classes.


    Whats next?

    After choosing a main syringe you are stuck with it for the rest of the match. But after choosing a main syringe you can choose two syringe kits to use for the rest of the match as well. These are basically Jenkins tools and not used for killing. The list of these tools will not be listed on the site.

    So whats the main objective of being Jenkins?

    Kill everybody on the human side. Pretty simple and basic.

    The Crew

    Playing as the crew lets you choose between four different classes. But the different classes doesn't give you special abilities just different attributes. Which are like the following.

    Health: Depicts how much health you start off with.
    Speed: The speed of how fast the class you are can run.
    Swag limit: Depicts on how many weapons the player can hold. Any player can hold all the weapons, but once you hit over your swag limit the player will start losing speed.

    ----------Beginning Section of the Storyline----------
    The Beginning:

    In 2008 an inland was discovered, not to far from the US coastline. When it was found nothing was there, nothing lived there. There were some signs that some life lived there at a time. There was no life on this inland, the inland was named "Leblosesland" lebloses in German means lifeless. The expolorer who found Leblosesland was a German who lived in the US. He named the inland after it's lifelessness.

    After a few months, people where allowed to go there. And were they eager to get over there, because of their greed. Because it was an open, vast land. They could get a large amount of of land, and in the future, they could sell it for hundreds of thousands. They also knew that there would be a great amount of gold and materials on the inland.
    Their greed for gold and money, would eventually lead them to their deaths.

    By 2011, there was thousands of people. Many of them lived in the "central city", it got it's nickname form being near the middle of the inland and was one of the only cities. Near there, was a cave. A river ran though it. It was a claim place until someone found gold drifting down steam. Ever since then, it's been more like a mine instead of a cave. Lots of people would go in, but after they went in...they never came out. Some people claimed that they got trapped in by the tunnel collapsing. But no one really knew.

    1 year later, in 2012, Malcom went into the mine, he was dared to do it, foolishly he accepted. Malcom was 16, he normally wouldn't accept be dared, but he wanted to make a good impression. Walking in the pouring rain, he started off to the cave.Most of the time people couldn't go in without proper authorization. But he sneaked in at night, security doesn't come when it's raining at night. He came to the mine, and paused for a second. Malcom peered into the cave, he didn't like the look of it.. Malcom noticed something or someone talking far off distance. He thought it might be a guard or something, he got down near a tree, then looked toward where he thought the sound was coming from, he looked into the mist. Two people came appeared, Malcom looked closer, they weren't guards, they appeared to be in their late teens, just talking to each other. Malcom couldn't quite figure out what they were saying, he suspected they were coming for gold. They came to Malcom.

    "What are you doing here?" the stranger questioned rudely.
    "Well, my friend dared me go to here at night. I don't get why thought, I mean, the cave isn't anything bad. Why are you here?" Malcom answered, trying to sound like he wan't worried.
    "Heh, we wanna find gold and get rich. Why else would we be here? C'mon let's go in."
    They went into the cave, Malcom followed. They were about to lose sight of the entrance, Malcom paused,
    "You sure we should in that far?" Malcom advised. The others laughed,
    “What are you? C'mon it's just a cave.” one of them replied.
    Malcom hesitated, he looked back toward the entrance, then he leaned over, took a piece of chalk from his pocket, and made a mark.
    “C'mon! What are you doing?”
    “I'm making a mark so we don't get lost in this place.”
    "Heh, not a bad idea. This place is pretty big ya know."
    They went deeper into the cave, Malcom continued to make marks. They came to a huge under-ground canyon, a bridge joined the two sides. The bridge didn't look sturdy, it was rotting and you could hear it creaking.
    “You go first.” the others ordered.
    Malcom carefully walked across the bridge, it was creaking and looked like it was going to fall apart any moment, they got across. They went into a fairly narrow passage.
    “We go thought a massive cavern and now...we go though a small tunnel.” said Malcom.
    The others laughed, then one of them replied:
    “Hehe, does it matter? If we find some gold we'll all be rich man!”
    Malcom looked ahead, he looked closely, he thought he saw someone lying on the ground ahead, Malcom walked closer. It was a dead miner, he had a hole in his chest as if some kind of spike came though him.
    “Guys...I think we better turn back.”
    “What, oh man. That guys dead! C'mon! Lets get outta here!”
    Malcom crouched down and picked up a bit of paper that was in the miner's hand.

    Quarantine(Solo MP)

    An Unreal Tournament 2007 modification!
    ::THE GAME::
    -Choose out of 16 different characters
    -Pick out of 2 squads for different missions on the same map

    -Pick what weapons and items you have for the mission
    -Die and turn into a zombie and eat your former freinds

    We will first release our multiplayer version then if it all goes smoothly we will release a single player version later. This will be a first person shooter with many custom sounds and songs.

    ::GAMEPLAY::
    You will choose a squad out of Bravo and Alpha, which both will have different missions but will be on the same map and will even see each other on the level. Then you will choose a soldier and a weapon load out, which consists of a melee weapon, Beretta and Primary weapon. Aside from the items you will find around your area you will start with one extra item. Then you will get your missions. An example is: hold off the gate from humans and infected humans, then move out and get the science directors daughter and bring her to the mid destination, where you will meet up with the other squad who will take her and bring her to the destination, while you and your squad go to a building and get documents and go to your destination. It will be simple and straight foward to understand but the problem will be doing it. For most levels you will have around 3 or 4 missions sometimes less, and if you lose many men the mission will be very hard, but still possible.

    ::STORY::
    The year 2023, a patient came in the Hospital with a rash covering his body. The doctors said it was an unknown virus. Moments later the patient killed the doctors by eating them. The doctors later became a creature like him within 30 minutes, then attacked everyone in the hospital. This reaction spreaded through the city to the forest within 2 days. Almost everyone was dead. You are a soldier in the Biological Recon Attack and Surveillance (B.R.A.S.) and you are ordered to go with15 others to Pine Wood City, the suburbs on the outskirt of the city, then reach the forest and complete missions.

    Apprehension(solo MP)

Build up a stronghold on the map, but beware! There are others who want to destroy you, crush you into the ground and erase all memory of your existence. What are you going to do to stop them? Do you feel the Apprehension?

    Apprehension is a teamplay-oriented combination of the fps and rts styles of gameplay. Players can construct buildings, vehicles, and ai-controlled droids to help them obliterate their enemies. Teams work together, using a shared resource pool which is added to by means of collecting resources on the map and destroying enemy units and buildings.

    You have a wide array of choices for putting the hurt on the opposing team. To name a few, you can team up and jump in the Heavy Roamer, a massive multi-seat air assault craft. Or you can send a scout drone to mark a target for the devastator, the tactical nuke with the other team's name on it!

    In addition, Apprehension sports a unique weapon system, where players can choose various attachments for their weapons, then tweak the attributes to their liking. Choose any weapon base that suits you. Next choose a secondary attachment by snapping on a grenade launcher, a targeting system or a laser sight. These are but a few of the options available as part of the Apprehension arsenal.

    Maverick Hunters(SP & MP)

    Maverick Hunters is a modification based on the Mega Man X series, matching an unique class system with a lot of balance, focusing on deathmatch.

    Two teams, with three character classes each, fighting with their own weapons, physical attributes, weaknesses and fighting styles, trying to achieve the same goal: The destruction of their enemies.

    No, there won't be any known characters. The six characters will be original, but keeping a "Reploid" feeling (Reploids are replicas of the original Megaman X, if you're not familiar with the Megaman X series).



    So, each character would have a melee weapon (swords, claws, fists, spears, etc), and some sort of X-Buster, probably replacing one of their hands.

    Instead of getting weapons, they'd only get ammunition packs, which would be used with their X-Buster cannon. Now, comes the best part: Each class would have a different use for the ammunition.

    For example, a "fire ammunition". One class gets it and uses it as a Flamethrower, and the other gets it and used it to launch powerful fireballs. The possibilities are limitless...



    Mainly, I've been thinking about 3 classes: a slow/strong, a fast/weak, and a balanced one. Not only the way they use the ammunition would be different, but also things like their size, health, max health.

    Additionally, some features would be exclusive to each classes (one would have a jetpack, for example, while other would regen its health over time).



    I haven't decided which engine to work on, neither I know when I'll start working on it (as I'm somewhat busy right now with other projects, and because all I know at the moment is coding), but I'm sure this mod will rock.

    Ti posso dire fin da subito che la community d'Unreal non se li fila neanche di striscio i mod

    Ma poi, non hanno a disposizione il motore grafico, non hanno a disposizione un emerito tubo e cosa iniziano a fare? I modelli e basta possono fare, che tra l'altro se vogliono mantenere leggero il tutto dovranno anche scalare di poligoni... sarà il solito fiasco in stile Q4

    intanto questi sono i progetti vhe intendono fare per UT2007 , e come inizio non c'è male , poi fra quelli inseriti da me ce ne sono pure SP e non è mai male

    UT è un gioco assai multyplayer, c'è gente che appena comprato il gioco, il single non se l'è manco filato (io sono uno di questi ) I mod non fanno molta breccia nell'unrealer appassionato, l'unica cosa che possa magari indurre a giocare qualche cosa di diverso, sono le modifiche fatte al gameplay tramite i mutatori...

    Confermo, non ho mai installato un solo mod per nessun UT... Tranne quelli obbligatori per il torneo organizzato da TGM (altri tempi... DECISAMENTE altri tempi...)

    Cmq, personalmente qualcuno l'ho provato, ma semplicemente per fare due spari diversi dal pim pim, ovvio che sia una mera distrazione, nulla più.

    Speriamo pero' che:

    1 - Non siano mod "platonici" come lo sono stati molti per HL2 e
    Doom3... Io sto ancora aspettando per esempio Black Mesa: Source e Sven Coop 2.0: Source

    2 - Risultino belli ed appassionanti, l'ut2004 era deludente.
    Si salvano AirPowerIII, Troopers, ArkonWeapons, VehicleInvasion e Unreal4Ever, ma giusto perche' mi piacciono per un gusto soggettivo.

    3 - Siano in maggioranza sp o mutatori, perche' i mod mp non sono giocati per niente.

    Chissa' se svilupperanno UNREAL 3... che io ci sono rimasto un po' male nel vedere UnrealII: the awakening non centrare assolutamente una bega stellare con il vecchio ut...
    Giusto gli skaarj e una Liandri che c'e' ma boh non si capisce che ruolo abbia nella storia... a parte uno scontro non centra piu' nulla.

    Speriamo cmq che il lavoro vada alla grande!

    poco ma sicuro che per fare una TC seria con l'ue3 ci vogliono minimo 3/4 anni di lavoro (e di quelli con le palle quadrate)

    Comunque Red Orchestra mica fu snobbato dai...
    Chissà cosa faranno alla Tipwire con la licenza dell'ue3... immagino un titolo commerciale...

    Oddio redorchestra prima di essere venduto su steam ci giocavano veramente in pochi, proprio perchè i niubbi non capivano che si dovesse mirare con l'ironsight...

    Beh Deathball fa decisamente un eccezzione essendo stato uno dei MOD più giocati e più longevi (ancora oggi è giocato anche se i tempi d'oro sono andati). Www.deathball.net

    Ho letto i primi 4 commenti...

    Io vi segnalo la mod allegata all'ultimo DVD di TGM.

    Io purtroppo sul pc nuovo non ho ancora l' ADSL e non gioco online con UT 3 (anche se sono un appassionatissimo di questo gioco, il mio primissimo gioco per pc quando avevo 9 anni è stato Unreal Tournament quindi potete ben capire).

    Comunque io vi segnalo la mod : The Hunted.

    In pratica hanno portato il tutto in 3 persona con nuovi pesonaggi, armi e mappe tutte in stile Survival Horror, quindi ci troveremo da soli o in co-op contro orde di non-morti.

    Per chi non ha la conessione online oppure si è rotto del classico UT 3 ( io non mi sono mai annoiato non so voi) può provare questa mod.
