Integrato alla scheda è disponibile il mitico chip audio SID del Commodore 64
I requisiti hardware sono assolutamente contenuti, si parla di un semplice 68000 a 7 Mhz, AmigaOS 3.0 con 10 Mb di Ram
Il software funziona in emulazione trasparente anche su Amiga PPC, AmigaOne e Pegasos, anche se in futuro si aspetta una versione nativa per i processori PowerPC
Feelin questo è il nome di questo nuovo linguaggio di programmazione orientato ad oggetti per AmigaOS.
Piccolo, veloce e potente cosi è definito dai suoi autori, offre tutti gli strumenti necessari per creare e gestire un forte ambiente orientato agli oggetti.
Novità anche sul fronte YAM, è stato aperto uno spazio web dove poter scaricare e visionare tutti gli avanzamenti della nuova versione 2.5 in modo simile a quanto avviene con AROS.
Dopo svariati annunci è stata resa disponibile la prima Beta pubblica di Pocket UAE, il primo emulatore di Amiga classic per PocketPC

* Up to 1MB Slow RAM, for extended compatibility with problem software
* A hard-disk: either a harddisk image file or part of the native filesystem
* Mouse and Joystick support (Stylus and D-Pad on PocketPC)

Aggiornato l'emulatore ASp ottimo emulatore del vecchio 8 Bit della Sinclair, giunto ora alla versione 0.84 e perfettamente compatibile con il nuovo AmigaOS 4.0 PPC
Rilasciata la prima versione Alpha di Realms Of Power, gioco strategico sulla falsa di Civilization, Real Of Power sarà disponibile per AmigaOS 3.x e per AmigaOS 4.0
Dopo la speciale versione per AmigaOS 4.0 in dirittura di arrivo è stata completata anche la versione per Amiga classic di questa perfetta conversione del gioco stategico Transport Tycoon

Rilasciata la seconda versione Beta di AWeb 3.5, queste le nuove caratteristiche rispetto alla precedente versione:
RELOCATION
AWeb relocation handling has been much improved, Temporarily moved urls are now temporary! They
are not cached and a second request to the original url will reload the document. Also the
relocated url is displayed under the name of the destination not the original request
(MSIE and mozilla both do this).
Thses changes mean a that many login systems work smoother without the need to manually refresh
pages. Another example is that the "Continue To Message" link on a yahoo advert now works.
ENFORCER HITS
A few enforcer hit type bug have been cleaned up resulting in improved stabilty.
JAVASCRIPT IMAGE ONERROR
A bug in the javascript Image() objects onerror handling was fixed.
TRANSPARENT GIF ANIMATIONS
The new background image handling did not update the backgrounds of Animated gifs
CHARSET TRANSLATION
Two new charsets ahave been added as an interim fix to the problem of windows characters in
iso-8859-1 documents.
iso-8859-1 translates the extra windows characters from windows-1252 to near equivalents
(as the old compatable mode did, but with a few composite charatcers missing)
windows-1252 translates true windows-1252 docs to iso-8859-1
A more comprehensive charset solution is in the works...
CHARACTER REFERENCES
Character refernces for unicode characters such as “ etc are now supported in all modes
and not just in strict. The € reference should work now if you have the right fonts.
Rilasciata la versione 0.6.1b di ScummVM, editor per le avventure grafiche della Lucas Arts e non solo.
Grazie a ScummVM è possibile giocare a molte avvenuture mai convertite su Amiga o comunque giocarci nelle versioni a 256 colori sviluppate per DOS/Windows/Mac (su Amiga alcune di queste erano limitate ai 32 colori dei primi modelli Commodore Amiga)
