    non funzia ma mi ha illuminato il: laptop-eapd 2-channel with EAPD (Samsung R65, ASUS A6J)


    ho letto di un asus a6j con un problema analogo che ha risolto senza poi spiegare il come....

    intanto nuclearizzo l'ultimo triste tentativo di kernel

    Metti quello con apt-get
    comunque che kernel hai?

    Io Fisico Teorico 38 anni
    In bocca al lupo per analisi ma il nuovo ordinamento è facilino

    Nel caso mettiamo anche i nuovi codec alsa
    Okkio che se cambi kernel poi devi rimettere i diriver
    per la scheda video

    stavo cercando di installare il 2.6.21.... ieri è uscito il 22....

    ma ho problemi con il boot

    mi va in kernel panic perchè non trova /

    suppongo che i drivers non siano ancora maturi...
    domani provo coll'initrd anche se le guide lo sconsigliano....
    ti fo sapere domani sera se riesco finalmente a compilare un kernel che non si impanichi....

    dunque...
    il metodo da te postato non funziona... ho provato e non cambia nulla...
    provato anche levando --purge tutti gli alsa (base, lib e utils) e reinstallandoli da 0 in modo da togliere tutti i pasticci vari...

    se provo a compilare il kernel (2.6.21, il + recente disponibile con apt-get) con l'initrd mi si pianta al boot non più con un kernel panic... mi scrive waiting for root filesystem...
    e resta lì...

    ho compilato correttamente i ramdisk... ora...

    ho come controller l'ICH7 s-ata.... probabilmente non funzia qualcosa lì...
    essendo neofita nella compilazione dei kernel non so come compilarlo correttamente...

    se runno alsamixer ora mi da
    alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device
    Ecco se ti ricapita niente panico
    $killall udev
    $udev start
    per ricaricare le voci in /dev
    e ri-eseguire
    $alsamixer.
    Dovrebbe risolvere il problema.

    Mo torno a vedere se riesco a capire come farti funzionare il jack
    Comunque in uno dei link che ti ho pasato c'erano delle modifiche
    da fare a esound, non credo le hai fatte

    Non trovo molte soluzioni...anzi tuttaltro
    quel chipset sigmatel è maledetto perfino su win

    Penso che la questione ruoti attorno a problemi con SPDIF,
    anche con windows

    Prova inoltre a vedere se riesci ad attivarlo con la linea di comando
    C'è
    $ amixer sset Headphone 80%

    Pare che ci sia una patch, ma ne vedo diverse...meglio aspettare
    comunque pacchiano

    vo' nella cartella /usr/src/
    estraggo...

    ma penso che tu lo sappia fare


    il problema era che caricavo solo il modulo ata-piix e mi dimenticavo del modulo sd...

    ora parte....
    ma sa da riconfigurare un po' di cosette
