Roaming Fortress is a dynamic mix of action, strategy, and defensive game elements. With its visually stunning graphics and fast-paced gameplay, Roaming Fortress offers hours of destruction, 24 customizable fortresses, and 68 interchangeable squads as you take your fortress on the offensive.

Roaming Fortress has had great success on Mobile, and we would like to bring the game to PC. The plan is to enhance the game with Hot Keys, particles, visual effects, and higher quality graphics - so this will not be a direct port.

STORY
Long ago, the Kingdom of Manatalopia stretched far across the Sirenian Desert. Life was good…
Without warning, the Goblin Horde, a devastating force of legend, marched on the Kingdom of Manatalopia. The Horde showed no mercy. The brave Manatalopian Knights took up arms to defend the vast empire, but the attack was too sudden, the Horde too powerful. At the hands of the merciless Horde, the empire was swiftly destroyed.

Driven into the borderlands of their once great empire, the surviving Manatalopian Knights devised an ambitious plan to retake the lost kingdom and mete out justice on the Horde by moving their remaining fortress onto the back of a burdenbeast. The result: the Roaming Fortress. So begins the campaigns of the Manatalopian Knights to reclaim their lost kingdom and drive the evil forces back from whence they came.

Questo Roaming Fortress mi ha stupito. Letteralmente. Di base è il solito Tower Defense, con la differenza che questa volta il nostro castello si muove verso i nemici. Questo cambia il gameplay, perchè non dobbiamo starcene ad aspettare che i nemici ci arrivino contro, ma dobbiamo combattere sia contro loro che contro il tempo visto che è il nostro castello ad andare verso di loro e loro a venire verso di noi

A questo aggiungiamoci taaaaaaaaaanti upgrade..non ne ho mai visti così tanti in un TD..Ci sono diverse armi (balestre/catapulte/cannoni ecc), magie, per non parlare dei castelli (che determinano dei bonus e anche il tipo di armi che possiamo installare) e infine gli animali che portano in giro il nostro castello

Fulcro del gioco sono le nostre truppe. Ad ogni arma può essere assegno uno o più soldati (in base a quanto l'abbiamo migliorata). Il numero dei soldati disponibili cresce con l'esperienza che accumuliamo durante la battaglia, quindi all'inizio ci si deve destreggiare nell'assegnare il giusto numero di truppe alle nostre armi che possiamo anche riassegnare durante le missioni..

A concludere questo nuovo TD abbiamo una 40ina di livelli da giocare con 3 livelli di difficoltà che rendono questo gioco anche un bel pò lungo.

Insomma una perla di gioco nel mare dei tower defense che vi potete portare a casa per pc a meno di un euro (per pochi giorni ancora).

Vi dico solo di stare attenti perchè è una droga..io mi sono dovuto fermare a forza visto che aspetto almeno la versione su desura per avere i salvataggi/aggiornamenti online..
