In a recent interview with Famitsu, Square Enix’s Tetsuya Nomura revealed a few details on the next home console installment of the Kingdom Hearts series.
Tetsuya Nomura told Famitsu Kingdom Hearts III will be the last to feature main antagonist Xehanort. The game will not mark the end of the franchise, and a framework is already in place for future sequels with Sora returning as the main character. Nomura also added that KH fans will find a few answers about what to expect in KHIII during their playthrough of KH 3D on the Nintendo 3DS (currently marked with a TBA release date).
Finally, Nomura siad that Square Enix was looking into the same HD tech used to render past titles. What that means, we will just have to wait and see.
