The IC team has announced that it will be releasing an early version of the mod somewhen between Christmas and New Year's Eve. It will give you the opportunity to test out the much talked about Pyro GX ship in a couple of 6 degrees of freedom maps. The ship will be equipped with laser cannons and rocket launchers; it will also have headlights mounted on the front of its cockpit.
Code (HeXetic):
- Basic mouse-and-keyboard based 6DoF controls, with no turn rate limitation or acceleration. - done - expectations surpassed (see below)
- Proper model rotation based on defined or calculated centre-point
- Proper bounding box size
- Proper bounding box rotation based on defined or calculated centre-point - done
- Left/Right weapon discharge from primary laser cannon mountings
- Left/Right missile discharge from concussion missile mountings
- Headlights
Art:
- Pyro GX model, with at least one texture - done

Center of the 90's one had the possibility a spaceship in the computer game "the cent" by a complex 3D-Labyrinth to already steer around hostile robots and combat units with versatile armament shoot and in extensive Multiplayer engagements measure. The team around "Into Cereberon" has itself to portieren now made the well-known play principle into the Doom3-Engine. Two the level are already playable and weapons as well as ship's model can to be seen be able. Until all features are implemented, some time into the country will probably still go.
The available version has still Pre alpha status and is as test version to be thus only understood. Some things such as HUD, animations, sound etc. are still incorrect. But the available version all marks is worth a view! Current features, pictures and the Download as follows:
This release's "coherent, reasonably functional features" are:
- 6DoF controls, including roll
- "Pyro GX" ship model with simple black paint job
- Dual/Quad weapons firing from roughly the appropriate points on the ship model
- Concussion missiles firing from alternating left/right tubes.
- Minigun weapon (currently hit-scan)
- A couple of maps in various stages of completeness
- Headlights (currently do not illuminate the ship shining them)

What's new:

This release ups the ante on 0.0.1 by including a brand-new map (Spectre's "ic_mine"), a functional HUD, new sound effects and music, and tons of bugfixes. Multiplayer is but may suffer in high-lag situations due to incomplete code that we hope to rectify in 0.0.2. Doom 3 1.3 required (RoE not required). This release includes binaries for Windows, Mac, and Linux, and we've even tested that Linux<->Windows play works fine!
