Ever needed to know why Zangief wears panties in battle or why Blanka smells bad? Apparently, there's a book that might have answers to these questions. Capcom and UDON have partnered to create an illustrated tell all, a literal encyclopedia featuring "detailed profiles" for every Street Fighter character. It's called "Street Fighter: World Warrior Encyclopedia," and it's hitting stores in late 2010.
We're not sure why Capcom or UDON decided to publish and illustrate a book based on characters not named Ken. Seems silly, right? We're in the process of not asking about this, and will not tell you when someone doesn't answer. Stay tuned (and go pre-order this thing at Amazon if you're interested.)

One of my favorite downloadable games from 2009 is on its way to the PC. DoubleSix, the makers of Burn Zombie Burn, told Big Download that the dual-stick zombie shooter will be appearing on Steam later this year.
I think this is great news. I really like this game, more than the review I wrote would seem to suggest. It's continued to grow on me and I love to just vegetate sometimes and mindlessly run roughshod over the bloated and decaying corpses. Good, good fun.
There's no more specific window for the game's release, but it's been rated by the ESRB so I hope it won't be too much longer.

Sometimes he'd take them out and gaze at them lovingly. It really grossed me out. So one day when he was at work I threw them all out.
