Per il responsabile del marketing di Microsoft France, Huques Ouvrard, Xbox One è più potente di PlayStation 4.
PS4 "non è più potente. C'è della confusione sulla differenza del numero dei pixel, la risoluzione di alcuni giochi viene definita dagli editori e non è dovuta alla console", ha spiegato Ouvrard al sito francese Nouvel Observateur.
"Soprattutto, grazie alla potenza del cloud - abbiamo installato 300.000 server - le capacità della console si moltiplicano per quattro".
"Per cui, se collegate la console a Internet, Xbox One è più potente".

Oggi sono passato al MW, curioso di provare almeno una delle due console.
Risultato: una XB1 collegata ad un TV, accesa, con FIFA. Peccato che si potesse usare solo kinect, niente pad. E siccome FIFA, kinect, e comandi vocali vari a me non interessano ho tirato dritto.
Di fianco c'era una bella PS3 con schermata di errore e una PSP fat.
Ma d'altro canto parliamo dello stesso MW che ha tenuto per almeno 6 anni (fino ad alcuni mesi fa) un Wii fisso sulla home senza alcun gioco né controller collegato...
Scusate ma per quale motivo dovrebbero trovarsi ps4 in negozio se sono prenotate tutte e due le ondate? Voglio dire: chi l'ha prenotata ce l'ha prima. Se qualcuno disdice all'ultimo si passa a quello successivo che non è rientrato nella prima ondata. Giovedì mi ha chiamato gamestop per chiedermi conferma per ps4 dicendo che essendo nella prima ondata se non la prendo, cedo il posto giustamente a qualcun altro che attende la seconda ondata. È possibile che negozietti che non prendono prenotazioni gliene arriva qualcuna free, ma quanti saranno?Citazione:

Yesterday we reported about PS4 Units being back in stock at many Walmart stores across the US, even if the retail chain does not disclose that publicly on their site and store clerks will tell you they don’t exist even if you ask.
Since then we’ve been contacted by Walmart employees confirming the story and offering more details about it.
One employee, working at the receiving department at Walmart (the ones that unload trucks, separate freight, and move it to the sales floor), revealed that the PS4 stock was delivered on the 21st. The electronics department clerk of the store already knew they were coming and had told him to expect them.
Part of the job of our source is to read the codes on the freight delivered to know when to haul it to the sales floor, exactly because some of the items are held back in the storerooms for days or even weeks in order to match sales.
All the PS4 delivered had the USA code, which corresponds to Black Friday, and there are four different USA codes, corresponding to 8 PM, 10 PM (on Thanksgiving), Midnight and 6 AM.
A second employee, of the Store Manager level, confirmed the delivery as well on the same day, and mentioned that those PS4 are strictly held back until Black Friday simply because the flyers already distributed announced that the consoles will be in stock, so stores have to stockpile in order to match what advertised to the customers.
So there you have it. If you want a PS4 (or Xbox One) on Thanksgiving or Black Friday and you plan to shop at Walmart, the times mentioned above are the ones that will offer the best chance to find your coveted console. Good luck with that. You’ll need it.

Not even 24 hours after the North American launch of the Xbox One Microsoft sent a press release stating that “Xbox One is now sold out at most retailers,” but that statement must not have included Toys”R”Us or Best Buy.
Just a walk across Times Square from the location of one of the console’s big launch events to the local Toys”R”Us store, which happens to be the biggest store of the retail chain in the world, and also a very well known shopping outlet, would have confirmed that there are still plenty Xboxes to be had, as discovered by our valiant reporter Al Zamora, that went on reconnaissance today.
Talking with a store employee at the Time Square Toys”R”Us store we a learned that they have “easily a few hundred” units left. You can check a couple pictures below.

There we were told that there are still “a lot” of units left for sale. This doesn’t mean that the Xbox Didn’t sell well, though, as the store was allocated 1500 units, and they have more stored in a truck.
The surprising part? When Al walked to the gaming aisle he was greeted by the sight of several rows of the sleek black-boxed Day One edition Xbox One units, as you can see below.

That said, if you live in New York and want an Xbox One right away, now you know where to go, especially if you don’t care much for green and want one of those lovely black Day One editions. You don’t even need to hurry too much, as there’s plenty left.

In sti giorni, avendo deciso di attendere in minima parte xchè indeciso, perche non ce una kill app per i miei gusti, perché son sempre soldi e non bruscolini, perché non son piu un ragazzino, ho preso la scimmia e mi son fatto il mio bel giretto pre e post lancio. All'inizio eran tutte sold out e girava il messaggio "meglio che ti metti in fila o rischi di rimanere a secco come un qualsiasi pezzente", poi console in vendita senza problemi (ok non i bundle dei preorder ma dovranno pur vendere a qualche vero noob le lisce) addirittura le ps4 prima del lancio probabilmente grazie al solito responsabile di reparto spostato dal settore microonde a quello intrattenimento per meriti acquisiti sul campo... insomma vagli a credere ai geni del marketing... e li pagan pure...
