Secondo me (e dopo aver spulciato i thread nel forum di gog lo saprò con certezza), bisogna lavorare sui file .ini, un po' come per Crysis 2 :stress:
Edit. Prova così: nell'user.ini file
aggiungi Invert=1 nella sezione [MouseInput]. Importante la I maiuscola.
Oppure: lascia perdere l'Invert e metti il segno meno qui: MouseSensitivityY=-0.5

A chi interessa, domani vi saprò dire se (e quanta) differenza c'è in termini di frame-rate passando da 4 core (x4 955 @ 3,7 ghz) a 6 core (x6 1090 @ circa 4ghz).

Ah, cmq con tutto su alto, senza SAO dao o come si chiama, con una 4870 @ 4890, 8gb di ram e un x4 955 @ 3,4 ghz faccio tra i 22 e i 35 fps all'esterno, tipicamente 25-27
Ah, risoluzione 1980x1200.
Domani provo con l'x6 e vedo se ci sono miglioramenti.
Ps= ho notato un boost di 2-3 frames tra gli ati 11.4 e gli 11.5...

No è arrivato anche qui :facepalm: il gioco è ottimizzato molto bene per quanto mi riguarda, i problemi che aveva con nvidia erano solo dovuti al 3dvision nvidia non ha fatto nessun miracolo di driver.

Ci ho giocato solo una mezz'ora nella pausa pranzo e ho provato la configurazione uber e scattava a manetta ( cosa strana) , la high vola . Devo trovare una via di mezzo .
Risoluzione 1920x1200 con i7 860 , 8 gb di ram e nvidia gtx 580 .

Allora, piccolo update.
Mettendo su high e lasciando tutto così, tranne che per il v-sync, faccio mediamente 22 fps, con minimi di 18 e massimi di 32.
Questo andando in giro all'inizio del gioco, nel primo piazzale che si incontra.
La configurazione è
X4 955 @ 3,4 ghz
8gb ram
4870@4890 (come frequenze).
In realtà levando SSAO, abbassando le ombre @ medium e AUMENTANDO texture memory size (@ large), LOD distance (@ normal invece che near) e lasciano identico tutto il resto, incluso il motion blur abilitato, faccio una media di 25 fps, con intervallo 19-35.
Sempre nello stesso posto, per lo stesso tempo, facendo circa gli stessi movimenti.

Ora faccio un'altra prova.
Ho trovato un tipo che ha sempre la 4870, ma un X2 550, e facendo un test con le mie stesse identiche impostazioni (no SSAO, shadows su medium, il resto su "high") definisce il gioco come "quite playable" alla risoluzione di 1440x900 (invece che 1920x1200, come nel mio caso.
Ora metto risoluzione 1440x900 per vedere QUANTO questo gioco sia cpu-dependant. (Prendendo come riferimento l'utente che invece dell'x4 ha l'x2)

Ok, ripetendo il test @ 1440x900, che l'utente che stessa gpu e stesse impostazioni ma x2 invece che x4 ha definito "quite playable", ho guadagnato 10 fps secchi di media, passando da 22 (1920x1200) a 32.
Mi viene da pensare che il gioco sia abbastanza dipendente dalla cpu...dato che per me "quite playable" significa fare ben meno di 32 fps di media (minimo 26 max 43). Però è una mia interpretazione!
