Bello bello, anche sopra le aspettative, visto che i 2 precedenti erano stati imho sottotono.
La coppia Mayaka Satoshi l'aveva già detto in precedenza che era la migliore del mezzo, qui la conferma.
Soprattutto quest'ultimo, mi ha veramente colpito.
Dietro alla facciata egoista e da figlio di mignotta, ho visto molte sfumature che erano secoli che non vedevo in un personaggio.
Il disagio e la paura di accettare Mayaka, il braccino di non essere all'altezza.

Avevo letto su /a/ (inb4 trolled hard), all'epoca del PV1, che questo anime sarebbe un ariete per guadagnare peso come publisher di light novel.
Ora Kyoanus è un publisher minore, ed animando questa light novel relativamente modesta di un loro autore interno, lancerebbero il messaggio "se pubblicate da noi poi ci scappa l'anime vendiamo dozziliardi", atto ad attirare gli altri autori a pubblicare sotto il loro marchio.
Non ho la più pallida idea se sia vero o meno, sorry, ma in effetti se le circostanze fossero quelle, avrebbe senso.
Potrebbe essere tranquillamente vero, chuunibbyocoso era infatti tra le menzioni del primo Kyoani award (:uhoh:), di cui poi hanno pubblicato le light novelS. Smartasses, così non hanno più neanche problemi con eventuali licenze 8) mai più fmp :smug:

- The project started coming together about 2 years ago. They decided who would be the producers and the chief director pretty early. It seems the chief director (we know its Motohiro now) was definitely something FujiTV wanted.
- What Yamamoto wanted for the show was something like Inception, but done in an anime form which can show off the Japanese animation industry's ability to also create major scifi works like that. Inception is very popular, Ghost in the Shell is very popular, people overseas respect these works, etc. You get the picture.
- Yamamoto was also the one who had the idea to get Amano involved in the character designs. The reason for this is because he feels that her artwork has a more adult taste in them, and she's also popular with both male and female demographics, so it would be a more gender neutral style which can appeal to older audiences as well.
- The story and science-fiction world setting is something which the chief producer and the script writer (Urobuchi!!) planned out together. Some of the details and ideas evolved along with Amano's designs however. It seems that both the Dominator gun and the wrist bracelet computer they use to calculate Psycho-Pass measurements are things which developed from Amano's preference for gadget designs.
A me cmq i chara design di Psycho pass non piacciono. E non mi paiono proprio "gender neutral" tra l'altro.

There are some really interesting details on the story stuff in the official site regarding the worldview. The main thing is the actual relationship in society between the Psycho-Pass measurement, criminals, Enforcement Officers, and Executive Officers.
Psycho-Pass is the actual psychological certification given to a person based on the various measurements of a person's psychology and personality to provide a grade on how "good" a person's mentality is. This is what governs how society operates in this future.
Part of the Psycho-Pass evaluation also includes the criminality coefficient a person has in their mind. This value determines whether a person has the potential to carry out crimes or not. If this value exceeds a certain among, a person is deemed a potential criminal even if no crime has been committed. To protect society from the potential danger, such people are taken away and removed from society.
Here's the interesting part. Those with extremely high criminality coefficients and show potential in being a detective are given an offer to be released, in exchange for their cooperation as Enforcement Officers with the criminal task force. Their high criminality potential also makes such people perfectly poised to understand the criminal mind, and as such be able to better analyze a crime scene and solve actual criminal cases.
But because of the potential danger involved, as any of these officers could turn into criminals themselves because of how the system has judged them, Executive Officers are the ones who manage and monitor the enforcers. These are society's top elites - those who have been measured to have a "good" personality, and extremely low criminality coefficients. They also have to be intelligent, calm, and high academic performers. Candidates fitting these requirements are selected to join the criminal task force in this division. It is a stressful job with requires them to constantly monitor the enforcers on the field, but at the same time it can be extremely rewarding because of the career advancement opportunities it offers.
