An American woman searching for her birth parents learns she has inherited a house in the
middle of a forest in a remote area of Russia. It is the house where she was born.
Abandoned and uninhabited for 40 years, it stands in total disrepair and neglect.
What she finds is more than an old house. She meets a mysterious man who claims to
be her brother, a twin she never knew. Together they find the house holds secrets to a past
they don't remember, forced to relive a series of horrifying events and shocking murders
that occurred just after they were born, in the place they were supposed to die.

Ah ma è il film originale di Cerdà, non un remake. Cerdà ci ha abituati alla perfezione assoluta con due corti uno più bello degli altri (Afterlife e Genesis), ma con questo lungometraggio (del 2006!) è rientrato nell'ordinario. Certo: ci sono un paio di idee sul come trattare la linea temporale (non del tempo in sè) che di certo un regista qualsiasi non avrebbe neanche pensato, ma per il resto non c'è nulla del suo talento esplosivo.
Ma adesso io ESIGO Coffin of light, un documentario sull'horror spagnolo degli anni 70. Con ospiti quali Paul Naschy, Narciso Ibáñez Serrador (Quien puede matar a un niño? ) e Jesus Franco (Miss muerte ).
