Capcom teases new Dead Rising game

Frank West packing for "my new adventure".

Capcom has teased a new Dead Rising game.

A post on the Dead Rising Facebook page suggests the mystery new game stars photojournalist Frank West, the protagonist of the first Dead Rising and spin-off Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

The post reads: "I'm getting packing for my new adventure - camera, notebook and baseball bat. What else would i need for a break in paradise? - Frank"

Could Dead Rising 3 be set for a Spike Video Game Awards reveal at the weekend only two months after the launch of Off the Record? Or is another downloadable Dead Rising game similar to Case West in the works?

Dubito che Capcom rinuncerà nuovamente a Frank West, dopo averlo reintrodotto in pompa magna in Off the Record e Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom. Mi sembra anzi palese il tentativo di rilancio del personaggio, come se loro stessi fossero rimasti spiazzati dal livello di popolarità raggiunto dal personaggio.

E' OK, se mi cambiano qualcosa nel motore grafico, anche solo con l'interazione degli oggetti, ambienti e zombi.

Per il resto, se seguono la "trama" del 2° DLC di DR2 (Case West), quello dove Chuck e Frank collaborano. Allora può essere interessante e ha senso che ci sia ancora Frank, visto che riguarda più lui la cosa.

Ma visto come finisce DR2:OTR e che per il DLC Case West hanno usato il finale A del gioco e non il finale S (quello con il giorno extra). Non mi stupisco che cambi qualcosa e si inventino altra roba random, pur di far uscire il gioco.

Dead Rising 3 brings zombies to the fictional town of Los Perdidos, California. After the zombie outbreak, the town is locked down and under martial law. No one can leave, but Rick and a group of survivors have other plans.

That’s concept art for Rick, the lead character in Dead Rising 3 on the right. He’s an orphan and works as an auto mechanic. When the zombie apocalypse breaks our Rick is unsure of himself, so he isn’t the same kind of character like Frank West. His plan is to restore a plane and escape Los Perdidos before a bomb goes off and destroys the already ruined city. As a player, getting the plane to fly is one of your main goals.

One interesting tidbit a source tells Siliconera, is Dead Rising 3 has an undercurrent of themes about illegal immigration. Another character called Red leads an underground group of "illegals," which are infected people that aren’t registered by the government. Annie, Red’s girlfriend is a runaway that’s sympathetic to the infected. While some survivors are helpful, others went berserk. One of the psychopaths you fight is a biker gang member who drives a "Roller Hog" – that’s a motorcycle with a steam roller attached to the front.

e in che modo potrebbe danneggiarli? tanto chi è interessato seguirà a prescindere la conference MS anche per vedere confermati i leaks, primi screens/gameplay etc...
