Sono finalmente usciti i primi samples del nuovo album dei vanden plas, Christ.0, in uscita a marzo.

ad un primo ascolto non sembra che l'originalità la faccia da padrona, così come non l'ha mai fatta in tutta la produzione dei tedeschi. ad ogni modo sembra discreto... magari i pezzi migliori sono tutti gli altri (anche se è ovvio che non sarà così )

PS: basta con octavarium, ascoltate anche altro, pèrdio!

Guarda... per prima cosa devo recuperare tutte le pietre miliari elencate nell'altro toppato (le alternative), prima di diventare al passo coi tempi bisogna recuperare il passato.


Certo che se poi dite "questo mi ha deluso", "questo è poco originale" non è che invogliate molto all'acquisto.

tutto quello che è stato consigliato, a prescinere dai commenti, è superiore alla produzione dei DT da SFAM in poi, quindi vai tranquillo

prima recensione del nuovo disco di jorn lande. niente a che fare col prog, ma per l'ex cantante degli ark possiamo fare uno strappo alla regola.

ovviamente, come al solito, non condivito il voto che gli hanno messo. l'album vale mooolto di più. al momento è quello che preferisco (se escludiamo quelli non ancora usciti e di cui non si può parlare ). siamo tornati ai livelli del bellissimo worldchanger

vabbè hanno dato 8 ad Octavarium sti zozzi

il disco nuovo di Jorn ancora non l'ho ascoltato, ma l'esperienza rock di Worldchanger era stata splendida (la titletrack ancora mi mette i brividi) e se Luc alo cita, allora devo solo aspettarmi un gran bel disco alla faccia degli zozzoni di Eutk.

STUDIO UPDATE FROM MJR
This just in from our favorite Symphony X slave Fan Club President...

Just spoke to MJR; he says they have four solid songs that are pretty much done, and they're working on arrangements for the rest of the songs. Thngs are really coming together, all the pieces are falling into place, and Mike says he's 'in the groove'; all very good things to hear. Mike assures me that this thing is going to kick ass when it's done; it's going to be well worth the wait, and your patience is greatly appreciated.

Pubblico una news vecchiotta riguardante il tastierista dei circus maximus:

Here's an update from both the band and keyboardist Espen, who sadly has chosen to leave Circus Maximus ...

Circus Maximus:
“After 5 years, Espen has decided to leave the band due to personal reasons. After much consideration we also think that this is the right decicion by him and for the sake of the band. We wish him the best of luck with everything in the future. Circus Maximus is of course still alive and well and as of this moment the band is writing new asskicking stuff for all you metal heads out there. At the moment we’re trying out a new very skilled guy – but we need to see how he will function with us on the songwriting etc. We will keep you posted when we have found a definite replacement for Espen".

And then the statement from Espen ...

Espen:
“After thinking about this for a long long time I have decided to leave the band. It was a tough decision, but I feel this is the right thing to do right now. I've had a great time paying in CM, up until a while ago. I just want to say that I still look at the other guys as my buddies, and no one is mad at eachother. I wish Circus Maximus a great future, and I know that they will still make great music. Big thanks to everyone for your support!”

Acustiche, ma solitamente la dicitura "acoustic drums" indica un set più piccolo usato solitamente negli unplugged ed affini, con una accordatura dei tom più calda. Questo in linea di massima.
