son riuscito a sentirli anche io i sample.....ho dovuto usare "vie alternative" ma ce l'ho fatta

Panic Attack mi ha colpito abbastanza ( sara' ancora l'influenza di ToT ), the root of all evil, sacrificed sons e octavarium non sono niente male a livello melodico ma quello che mi ha lasciato basito è il chiaro, netto e inconfondibile richiamo ai Muse nella canzone Never Enough !!! La Brie canta proprio nello stesso modo del cantante dei muse e anche le note finali dei 30 secondi sono molto ma molto simili, se non uguali, a un pezzo della canzone Butterflies and Hurricanes dell'ultimo dei muse.

Portnoy dovrebbe essere un fan dei Muse...

A quanto pare Panic attack sarà proprio il nuovo singolo.

Spulciando nel forum ufficiale ho visto che in Spagna è possibile addirittura sentire la canzone alla radio (Radio 3, per la cronaca

).

Ecco quello che ho trovato:
The notice is that Panic Attack is the new single!!! and is the third part of AA saga. I listened perfectly a part of This Dying Soul at the end of the song.
The song is heavy, like songs from ToT, but Rudess has more presence. IT'S BRUTAL.

The song had the part of sample that I have. No Fake!!!
don't understand english very well, sorry. But I listened two parts very different on Panic Attack. In the song it is repeated the chorus of Dying soul at the end...

the song it's similar that Honor thay father, but is like Awake songs too. It's an epic song, short but incredible, with strange and cool riffs.
Panic Attack is an epic song, similar to Honor Thy Father, this Dying Soul and The Mirror (but faster than the awake song).

Radio 3 is emited on 95.1 F.M in Spain.

The 30 second sample were included in the song I heard. The 30 seconds were of panic attack, so I know that the song was panic attack.

IS SIMILAR TO VACANT, VERY SIMILAR. IT'S TRUE....AND THIS TIME I HAVE BEEN PREPARED AND I'VE RECORDED THE SONG IN FIVE PARTS....

The Answer Lies Within: Description
The song begins with the sound of bells, and continue with a cool section by Rudess, similar to Space Dye Vest.
LaBrie begins to sing........Look around....
Portnoy includes a pretty drum passage...and chorus with LaBrie
The part with the Orquest is beautiful, the best part of song...more beautiful than vacant.
The song finish with LaBrie singing "the answer lies within..." and it seems that petrucci play the acustic guitar...

Is a beautiful song, similar to Vacant

I Think that the song is not complete, there are parts eliminated, i'm sure. It is possible that Petrucci play a solo...the song is very short (the time is not 5:26). I think that is the radio edit song

Quelli che hanno ascoltato le canzoni sembrano contenti del lavoro dei DT. Portnoy è un po' meno contento, e a quanto pare ha vietato questi argomenti nel forum.

I Walk Beside You is an amazing "pop song" that sounds like U2

These Walls is a traditional Dream Theater anthem

The Answer Lies Within is a wonderful ballad with some great Beatles harmonies, amazing keyboard parts and James LaBrie who opens his soul.

Never Enough is a traditional Dream Theater song again (great guitar parts, traditional middle section, a little bit like "Rhapsody"

The Root Of All Evil is a masterpiece in the style of "Scenes From A Memory"!!!!

già si sapeva che portnoy avrebbe continuato il suo percorso di 13 tappe dell'associazione AAA, e a questo punto mi pare chiaro che la canzone che si occupa di questo in quest'album è panic attack..

Il fatto è che radio#3 nn si prende benissimo, per cui...

panic attack devo riascoltarla bene perchè ancora nn so se mi piace o meno, mentre these walls mi piace parecchio, con un bel lavoro di rudess in fase di arrangiamento(era ora...)
