Sì infatti, solo che stavolta, essendo le architetture identiche, non ci sono scuse per fare una versione nettamente peggiore dell'altra, al massimo devono smanettare per sfruttare meglio la RAM su entrambe le console, dato che una ha GDDR5 e l'altra DDR3.

È pur sempre una voce da bios che può essere modificata al volo durante la produzione. E neppure un aumento eclatante (overclockare una cpu di una percentuale simile neppure può definirsi un vero e proprio OC, sempre che di OC si tratti, chissà qual'è l'effettiva frequenza nominale di quelle CPU.. Spesso e volentieri pure le cpu retail sono in realtà versioni downclocckate di cpu più performanti).

Piuttosto non so quanto possa effettivamente essere utile in fatto prestazionale... (Difficile da dire senza dei bench che mai, immagino, ci saranno)

Per riservarsi nel futuro un aggiornamento del firmware che migliora le prestazioni!

I primi sample di entrambe le console avevano la cpu a 2ghz...poi downclockata su entrambe successivamente per abbassare i consumi.

Forse perchè sono home console da incastrare nei mobili e di fianco alla tv?
Se volevo un case midi tower mi compravo un pc.

Conta che a 2ghz il processore consumava il 66% in piu'...a fronte di un incremento del 25% circa del clock. La spesa non valeva la candela.
