Because of this, I created a second modified and updated thread to continue legitimate discussion with text in bold stating the following
"This thread is addressing valid concerns and it certainly should be welcomed on a discussion board about Family Sharing so I'm just going to post it and hope I don't get banned. The content has been modified and updated so I can't see how this would be against any of the Discussion Rules listed. If necessary, I will create an entirely new thread using entirely different language to express the same thing but I don't think that is necessary."
It seems that it is necessary to use different language because I have been banned from the discussion board for "solicitation" and "Re-posting previously closed/deleted topic" despite heavily modifying the thread. The ban is legitimate I must admit. However, there is something wrong when "solicitation" is against the rules on a discussion forum about a feature. If you don't already know, here is the definition of solicitation.

They're right. I had a petition up so I was soliciting but what the hell are you supposed to do on a discussion forum about a feature if you can't ask for something? Yeah, I was banned from further discussion because I had the audacity to ask for something along with everyone who posted in the thread in complete agreement and signed the petition (you guys).
According to the rules, asking for things is against the rules and because I was asking for something, the ban was legitimate BUT is that rule legitimate? What's the point of a discussion board where you can't ask for additional features and express your concerns as to why this system isn't valuable as a customer? There isn't. They might as well shut it down and say "take what you can get".
Keep discussion on the board going but don't be surprised if some overzealous moderator bans you for a week.
