Caspita:
"Eddie House broke Danny Ainge's franchise record for best three-point percentage in a season tonight."
KG fuori fino a fine stagione.
Phoenix's Shaquille O'Neal and Denver's Nene played in late games on Wednesday night, taking their battle for the NBA's lead in field-goal percentage down to the final minutes of the final games on the regular season's final day. And when each made five of nine shots, it meant that O'Neal, who had led coming into the day, had prevailed, shooting 60.9 percent for the season to runner-up Nene's 60.4 percent. It's the 10th season in which Shaq has led the NBA in field-goal percentage, breaking the NBA record of nine seasons that he had previously shared with Wilt Chamberlain.

SUNS' CONSOLATION PRIZE
The Suns failed to make the playoffs, but for the second straight season they finished as the only NBA team that made more than half of its shots from the floor. The last team to shoot at least 50 percent from the floor in each of two successive seasons was Michael Jordan's Bulls, in 1990-91 and 1991-92, the first two of the Bulls' six championship seasons.

CALDERON 98-PERCENT PURE FROM THE LINE
Calderon Borrallo
Toronto's Jose Calderon made both of his free-throw attempts in the Raptors' 109-98 win at Chicago and finished the season with almost unbelievable foul-shooting statistics: he made 151 of his 154 attempts from the line, and that 98.1-percent rate shattered the NBA's previous single-season record of 95.8 percent set by Houston's Calvin Murphy 28 seasons ago.
Leaguewide, NBA players made 77.07 percent of their free-throw attempts, the second highest percentage in any season in NBA history. The record is 77.12 percent in the 1973-74 season - the season after the notoriously-poor foul shooter Wilt Chamberlain retired.

HOUSE LIKES HIS OWN HOUSE
House II
Eddie House made six of nine shots from three-point range in the Celtics' 115-107 victory over the Wizards, finishing the season having connected on 44.4 percent of his three-point attempts. That eked past the team record of 44.3 percent, set by Danny Ainge the current Celtics general manager, back in the 1986-87 season.
For the season, House made only 38.7 percent of his three-point attempts in road games, but he connected on 84 of 167 three-point shots - that's 50.3 percent - in the friendly confines of TD Banknorth Garden. That's the most three-point shots made by any player in NBA history whose single-season home-court three-point shooting percentage stood at 50 percent or higher.
Boston Celtics
KNICKS TROUNCE NETS
The Knicks took advantage of their last opportunity to break into "Elias Says" until the fall by trouncing the Nets, 102-73, and holding their cross-river rivals to 31.3 percent shooting from the floor. Only one other time in the past 50 seasons had the Knicks won a game by that large a margin while holding their opponents to such a low shooting percentage; that was a 102-72 win over Dallas on Jan. 7, 1997, when the Mavericks shot 29.1 percent from the floor.
New York Knicks
KNICKS' 3-POINT FESTIVAL COMES TO AN END
OK, one more on the Knicks: their season total of 2,284 three-point field-goal attempts obliterated the previous NBA record set by the Warriors last season. But New York came up short of the NBA record for three-pointers made: its total of 823 stands 14 shy of the mark set by Mike D'Antoni's Suns in the 2005-06 season.

Cmq un po' me l'aspettavo...
Coi Chigago cmq vinciamo 4 a 1, dormite sonni tranquilli o voi gufi appollaiati
i lakers passerebbero comunque
è stato detto che di KG?
