niente di nuovo all'orizzonte :uhm:
sto ancora aspettando il polycount coso :uhm:

Hello.
I while back I put together an ultra high graphics cfg for TF2, so far there has only been one problem with it; the player model (the model of the arms and weapons if you are unsure what I mean). They will often flicker in and out of visibility. After extensive testing I am still yet to find the problem. So if anyone knows why this is happening or what command might be doing this could they please tell me.
To use the cfg create a ".txt" file under the name of autoexec (so autoexec.txt), copy the below text into it, save it, and change the file extension to .cfg. The file then goes into "C:\programfiles\Steam\steamapps\(your steam name)\team fortress 2\tf\cfg".
Any feedback or suggestions is also much appreciated.
Also, scroll further down the page to see a list of what each command a does.
*Warning*
This cfg is designed for those already running TF2 at max settings with more than enough frames. It is also designed for those with multicore CPUs (Do not use with single core machines). If planning to use it and keep up enough frames you are going to need a decent enough computer. In GPU terms, for Nvidia: GTX 260 or higher/older equivalent. For ATI: HD 5770 or higher/older equivalent.
Another note: To get more prominent results it is better use this cfg with a 720p or higher resolution monitor.
Anyway, below is the list of commands.
r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1
r_threaded_particles 1
r_threaded_renderables 1
r_lod 0
r_maxmodeldecal 4096
cl_burninggibs 1
cl_detaildist 2400
cl_detailfade 0
cl_new_impact_effects 1
cl_ragdoll_collide 1
cl_smooth 1
cl_threaded_bone_setup 1
cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1
cl_ragdoll_fade_time 60
cl_phys_props_max 2048
lod_TransitionDist 6400
mat_queue_mode 2
mat_bumpmap 1
mat_specular 1
mat_parallaxmap 1
mp_decals 4096
mp_usehwmmodels 1
mp_usehwmvcds 1
snd_mixahead 1
dsp_enhance_stereo 1
fps_max 100
Enjoy
L'ho testato.

The new Spy set is interesting. Your Eternal Reward allows you to get utterly silent kills on enemies, but removes your ability to disguise at will. This forces you to rely on cloak much more, and to de-cloak for the kill as late as possible. When you kill someone their ragdoll vanishes almost instantly, and you automatically become disguised as them. There’s a wide ranging set of ways this combination of effects changes the Spy, from the fact that sentry guns become more of an issue, to you needing to find a lone enemy for your first kill (because you won’t be disguised when you get it). The fact that the set doesn’t include a specific invisibility watch means you’re free to experiment with any of the three existing watches to see which cloak works best for you. The Dead Ringer’s an interesting match, creating a Spy who’s unable to cloak or disguise at will.
