porcatroia, la cicciona vestita di rosso (chi sarebbe? Ivy?) è una roba insostenibile.
Anche quella vestita da leifang, ma per il motivo opposto![]()

The first is fully covered with keyboard keys-with the hood keys showing a pixelated Homer Simpson-, the second with floppy disks and Compact Flash cards, and the third one with Lego pieces. Fugly or purty?

magliette per gli amanti degli anni 70/80 e per far scappare le fanciulle (no doom tu non ne hai bisogno ci riesci anche senza queste)
Remember when controllers had corners and not curves? When speakers were bigger than a house? When storage was limited but personal? and rectangular? Remember when synths… Nevermind. Synthesizers still look the same. Oh wait. Remember when synths had no USB connection? Because there was no USB in the 80s?
If you can remember those days it’s because you ain’t drunk! If you ain’t drunk it’s ’cause you ain’t been partying! And you ain’t been partyin’ cause your shirts suck. Really Steve, no one knows who Tux is. Plus Tux isn’t really a nerd. He’s not even a real penguin. He’s not real period. So head on to fauxsure’s page at Etsy and get dressed the old-school-but-still-cool way.
All of fauxsure’s shirts are screenprinted, in keeping with the old school feel. I don’t even know what the hell that thing is beside the NES controller. You can probably name them all in 5 seconds. See, it’s a shirt and a conversation piece.
All designs are printed on American Apparel shirts, style 2001 for Men’s and style 2102 for Women’s. You can specify the color of the shirt as well as the designs, but if you’re not good at this fashion thing you can also let fauxsure pick the design color that matches your chosen shirt color.
You can also specify if you want a different shirt style aside from the default ones, but again make sure that they’re from American Apparel. Of course you have to tell them the shirt size as well.
All shirts sell for $21.50 USD. fauxsure also has bags screenprinted with these same designs, and they have other non-retro techie designs as well. Go and for once in your life be invited to a party that doesn’t raid or kill but just drinks and chills.
WHY didn't anyone tell me about this?
Come on people! Look at this adorable R2D2!!!
Look at his little silver holoprojector! And his little shiny eye!
Look at the shiny buttons!
So anyway, I like shiny buttons on crochet R2D2s. I couldn't really find any information on the person who made it (all I could find is an article here which is mostly people whining about wanting this little guy as much as I do) but it was posted almost 6 months ago! Jeez, I'm out of the loop. I would try making one myself, but this one is too daunting! Look at how cute his little retractable leg is. I don't think I could do that.
Anyway, enough whining, I hope everyone can just sit back and admire this little guy. Stay tuned!

Scarf Hero
Once again, I curse this stupid Texas weather! It's February, when people are knitting ridiculously cute smittens or blankets or sweaters (not like I have the patience to do any of those things, but still! Options are nice and it is 75 degrees in my apartment right now!) Anyway, the point is that this scarf is awesome but there is only about a 2 week window in Texas in which I can wear it which I probably wouldn't do anyway because I'm not cool enough to pull it off. Anyway, enough rambling, look at pretty picture!
That's right, it's a Guitar Hero scarf! You can read more details from the woman who made it on Craftster. Suffice to say, though, it's made out of crochet and then each of the lines were painstakingly hand sewed on, as well as all of the little button presses. She used a chart (from the Muse song "Knights of Cydonia") to know where to put all of the little buttons. I think it's ingenious. Very cool. Or in this weather, very hot. Stay tuned, we have a new dude done! Pictures coming within the next day or so. Stay tuned!
