Da quello che ho capito io:
Job in quel contesto è indicato per un lavoro già concluso.
Work per un lavoro in svolgimento.

Ma probabilmente sto sparando cazzate...

Penso good job sia più corretto riferendosi a un contesto di task singolo, piuttosto che a un insieme che involve più elementi. Good work, forse, si usa più per riferirsi al completamento di un insieme di task.
i.e.:
